Job description

SUMMARY: Candidate will be responsible for operating computerized systems and printing labels and packing lists. Must maintain data integrity following strict guidelines and procedures. Other responsibilities will include printer maintenance, loading printers, separating printed materials, covering for the main Computer Operator as needed, and any other tasks assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prints labels and packing lists using industrial OCE printers;
  • Follow detailed procedures in order to maintain data integrity
  • Decollating labels and packing lists;
  • Responsible for quality control of all materials from the Print Room;
  • Operates computer systems and associated peripheral equipment.
  • Maintains operational logs;
  • May fill-in for the main computer operator as needed;
  • Maintenance on industrial printers;
  • Completing any operational duties left over from 1nd shift
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Any additional task assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have one year of proven Computer Operator or Print Operator experience in the workplace.
  • Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs repetitively throughout the day;
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus;
  • Excellent attendance;
  • Excellent work ethic;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • At least HS diploma or equivalent.
