Job description

EnTechEngineering, PCis a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm devoted to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us.

About the Role:

The Associate Program Director will oversee multiple construction projects and contracts, with a focus on public agency, school renovation, rehabilitation, modernization, and emergency projects. This role will coordinate project teams, contractors, design professionals, and agency representatives to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage multiple construction contracts across NYC from planning through closeout.
  • Coordinate contractors, design teams, inspectors, school staff, and agency representatives.
  • Oversee schedules, field activities, RFIs, submittals, change orders, safety, quality, and contract compliance.
  • Manage work in occupied school facilities while minimizing disruption and maintaining safety.
  • Provide project updates, reporting, documentation, and direction to project staff across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of construction/design experience, including 4 years managing multiple construction projects.
  • Experience with new construction, renovations, rehabilitation, and modernization projects.
  • Public agency experience required; NYCSCA experience strongly preferred, particularly school renovations, emergency response, or RED DOT assignments.
  • Knowledge of NYC DOB/OSHA requirements, construction documents, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Annual Compensation:

$150,000–$180,000 annually
