Job description

This Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is based in Panama City, FL at a 238-bed acute care hospital that serves as the region's only facility with a Level III NICU, a dedicated Pediatric ICU, and the area's only Pediatric ER. The hospital holds certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Care center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, and a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and provides a broad spectrum of services including cardiac, vascular, robotic surgery, and women's services.

The role

The Clinical Pharmacist provides general clinical and pharmacy services while supervising pharmacy technical staff. Day-to-day responsibilities center on interpreting, verifying, and transcribing orders into the pharmacy system, compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals accurately, and monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug‑drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
