Job description

Deloitte is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of cloud security services within our Cyber practice. In this role, you will advise clients on securing Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, shape cloud security strategies, and lead teams through complex transformation programs. The ideal candidate brings deep cloud security experience, client-facing leadership, and the ability to translate security requirements into scalable business solutions.

Work you'll do
As an AWS Cloud Security Senior Manager on the Enterprise Security team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading AWS cloud security assessments, architecture reviews, and transformation initiatives for client environments
  • Defining cloud security strategies, target-state architectures, and implementation roadmaps aligned to business and technical objectives
  • Guiding the implementation of security controls across identity and access management, network security, encryption, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management in AWS
  • Managing client relationships, delivery teams, and project workstreams while maintaining quality across complex cyber engagements
  • Supporting practice growth through mentoring, solution development, and participation in business development activities

Our Enterprise Security offering helps organizations embed security across digital transformation by securing the client's technical backbone while enabling secure business transformation. The team brings capabilities across security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or cloud security
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing security solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience leading client engagements, project workstreams, or delivery teams for cloud security or cyber transformation programs
  • Experience with AWS Identity and Access Management, network security, logging and monitoring, encryption, vulnerability management, and security architecture, including experience leading the development of security strategies, governance frameworks, and secure architectures for AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI workloads deployed on AWS, including services such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar cloud security certification
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with cloud security posture management, container security, or DevSecOps
  • Experience leading Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Agentic AI security programs, including risk assessments, governance frameworks, and secure architecture for platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, or autonomous agent frameworks
  • Experience advising clients on AI/ML security risk management, model and data protection, and guardrails for autonomous AI agents
  • Experience supporting cloud security programs in regulated environments, presenting recommendations to executive stakeholders, and contributing to proposals, statements of work, or business development efforts
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,400 to $322,100.
