Job description

Network Engineering Project Manager - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Engineering Project Manager - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX, Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on complex network engineering initiatives with a focus on project management, vendor relations, and hardware procurement. The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities, work with 3rd party suppliers, and oversee the entire ordering and inventory lifecycle for network hardware within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Network Engineering
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Network Engineering challenges
  • Act as an entry point for engineers submitting hardware requests
  • Work with hardware suppliers to improve delivery times for orders
  • Provide weekly metrics and reporting
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, or military experience
  • 6+ years of project management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • 6+ years of vendor management/relations experience, skilled at working with 3rd party suppliers and analyzing data sets
  • 6+ years of ordering experience, interacting with requesters, procurement teams, finance, and 3rd party suppliers
  • 6+ years of inventory management experience, including tracking, drawdowns, and forecasting based on order history
Desired skills:
  • Network hardware ordering experience
  • Finance experience, including managing a budget, depreciation of assets, and working with P&L vs Cash accounting
  • Background as a network engineer or an understanding of networking technology
  • Effective communicator who can break down complex topics
  • Problem solver able to make excellent decisions through data analysis, judgment, and experience

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
