Job Summary/Basic Function
The general purpose of the job is to process admission applications in order to facilitate the admissions process, to coordinate all aspects of the transcript evaluation process between the Office of the Registrar and the Office of Admissions, complete quality assurance checks to ensure integrity of data collected.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
One to three years of administrative support, customer service, or office experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered as meeting the minimum qualifications, at the direction of the hiring supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree
Experience working in higher education, admissions, or student services.
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Slate or student information systems.
Experience supporting events or large-scale administrative processes.
Knowledge of FERPA regulations and student records management.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duties
Coordinates all Freshman/Readmit/Transfer processing: Processes admissions applications by collecting and reviewing applications, transcripts, test scores and other support documentation. Ensures accurate and timely data entry of information in the CRM and Banner SIS for all freshmen, transfer, and readmit students, applicants, and deposited students. Assists with NCTC and other special populations application's as needed.
Training: Works in conjunction with the Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Admissions, and Office Manager to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate cross-training modules that support office efficiency, continuity, and effectiveness.
Communication: Provides excellent customer service by answering phone calls, greeting prospective students and families, and assisting with the coordination of campus tours and prospective student tours or visits. Responds to student inquiries to the admission@ email box in a professional and timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned. Supports the daily office operations by requesting work orders as needed, assisting with bulk mailings and daily mail received in office. Assist with the coordination and preparation of Open Houses and Special Events. Performs additional duties as assigned in support of the Admissions Office.
Quality Assurance: Conducts quality assurance review on a minimum of 10 percent of processed work to ensure compliance with institutional, departmental, and position standards. Works in conjunction with Director of Admissions and Office Manger to review accuracy of CRM data, Banner fields and coding and processes. Assists in achieving weekly production goals in collaboration with admissions counselors.
Teamwork: Attends weekly staff meetings and actively participates in discussions, training opportunities, and office planning initiatives.
