Job Description
MAXISIQ is seeking a Cellular Communications and Radio Frequency Engineer responsible for the planning, design, coordination, and management of cellular and RF spectrum operations supporting Multidomain operations at MUTC and Camp Atterbury, IN. This role serves as the primary technical authority for spectrum engineering, FCC licensing coordination, and deconfliction activities supporting training events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficient and effective coordination and execution of planning, scope development, design, direction, and management of major projects related to Cellular System technologies at MUTC.
  • Perform overall RF Spectrum Engineering and management at MUTC and Camp Atterbury, IN in support of Multidomain operations.
  • Coordinate spectrum requests through state and federal entities.
  • Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines and provide ongoing monitoring during Tactical Training Events (TTE).
  • Perform local deconfliction activities for TTE.

Qualifications
Required Education
  • A bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or a related discipline, or the minimum experience listed below in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Cellular System Operations, Radio and Radio Frequencies (RF), and Spectrum Management.
  • Hands-on operational experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular technologies.
  • Experience with various cellular frequencies and coordination with license owners.
  • Experience preparing and/or processing FCC Experimental Special Temporary Authority (STA) Licensing Applications or other FCC licensing applications.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with the customer to facilitate training objectives.
  • Working knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunications equipment and transmission media, and of how component parts of communications systems relate to one another.
  • Practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunications approaches, methods, and techniques.

Required Security Clearance
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
