Job description

Launch Your Data Center Career-Train with CBRE, Power the Future with Meta
Meta is growing fast and they need people like you to help power their AI infrastructure. This is your chance to start a stable career in a booming industry with competitive pay and benefits at a Meta Data Center.
Through Meta's sponsored Level Up Fiber Technician Pathway program, CBRE is recruiting candidates for a four-week paid training program at purpose-built training locations in Columbus or Indianapolis. Travel expenses are covered, and participants receive a daily per diem throughout training. After successful completion, graduates transition into a permanent, full-time role as a Fiber Installer at a Meta Data Center.
Note applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship (including H-1B or STEM OPT) now or in the future.
What You'll Do (and Learn to Do)
During training-and once you're on the job-you'll build the skills to:
• Install, test, terminate, label, and document fiber optic cabling
• Pull low-voltage cables through conduits, ceilings, and pathways (ISP/OSP)
• Interpret floor plans, port maps, and telecom drawings to execute work accurately
• Install ladder rack, fiber troughs, seismic bracing, and grounding systems
• Patch, label, and barcode network equipment with precision and consistency
• Work safely every day while learning alongside experienced technicians
No experience? No problem-everything you need is taught during the training program.
What We're Looking For:
• A strong willingness to learn and take direction
• A safety-first mindset, plus reliability and teamwork
• Comfort using hand tools
• Readiness for hands-on, physical work
• Interest in technical systems, cabling, or construction-style environments
• Great attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Eligibility to work in the United States
Training & Pay (Earn While You Learn):
• Training starts August 31st and runs for four weeks (full-time), with new classes starting weekly
• $25.00/hour during training
• If you're local, you may commute daily
• If you're non-local, you'll receive company-paid housing, travel, and food for the duration of training
Why CBRE:
CBRE supports Meta by delivering consistent, skills-focused training experience-and a clear path from training into long-term employment. We value respect, integrity, service, and excellence, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
Applicant AI Use Disclosure:
CBRE values human interaction throughout the hiring process. We do not use AI to make hiring decisions and ask candidates to disclose any AI use during the application or interview process.
Ready to get started?
Apply to LevelUp today and take the first step toward a full-time role at a Meta Data Center.
Earn while you learn. Build real skills. Power the future with Meta.
