Job description

Registered Nurse Manager - Med Surg

Elite Staffing Network is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager - Med Surg, in Wilson, NC!

Leads activities and ensures resources that align with the mission, values, and objectives of the organization. Participates in the strategic plans of the organization by assisting in the development of specific objectives and achieving plan goals. Under the general direction of the Senior Nursing Officer develops, implements, leads, and evaluates all aspects of management and ensures the provision of quality patient/family centered care for the Medical Surgical Patient Care Units.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree, required

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Current AHA BLS required; ACLS within 60 days of hire. Specialty certification, preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of five years of current, relevant clinical experience in Medical Surgical patient care; will consider other applicable clinical areas in lieu of Medical Surgical experience.

Required Licenses

Registered Nurse Current NC nursing license, or within 30 days of hire.
