About the business unit:

The Cytology portfolio plays a critical role in cervical cancer screening and diagnostics, supporting laboratories, clinicians, and health systems with solutions that enable accuracy, efficiency, and confidence in patient care. The Cytology marketing role is central to growing Waters' leadership in this space through strong execution, customer engagement, and commercial excellence.

About the role:

The Marketing Manager, Cytology will support day to day marketing activities across the Cytology portfolio, including campaign execution, sales enablement, customer engagement, conference and event support, and market insights.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign and Program Execution

• Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns and product initiatives for the Cytology portfolio

• Assist in implementation of promotional plans aligned with portfolio priorities and go to market strategies

• Coordinate timelines, assets, and deliverables to support successful campaign execution

Sales Enablement and Customer Facing Materials

• Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of customer facing marketing materials and sales tools

• Support updates to presentations, brochures, digital content, and training materials

• Collaborate with sales and sales enablement teams to ensure materials meet field needs and brand standards

• Launch new cytology innovation in the marketplace

Conference and Event Support

• Coordinate conference and event marketing activities, including logistics, booth assets, promotional materials, and follow up support

• Support execution of customer events, workshops, and educational programs tied to the Cytology portfolio

Digital Marketing and Communications

• Help manage digital marketing and communication initiatives, including email campaigns, websites, and internal communications

• Support coordination with digital and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels

Market Insights and Competitive Monitoring

• Conduct market research and competitive monitoring to support marketing planning and messaging development

• Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform team insights and recommendations

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Communications teams

• Support alignment across functions to ensure coordinated execution and compliant marketing practices

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in marketing, healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, or a related industry

• Experience in campaign execution, sales enablement, and customer engagement

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders within a global matrixed environment

• Demonstrates natural intellectual curiosity and a proactive desire to learn and grow

• Ability to travel will be required required to support conferences, key launches, and major meetings, Estimated travel 30-45%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to B2B, healthcare, or scientific marketing environments
• Experience with digital marketing, campaign tracking, or basic analytics
