Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager (Marketing Programs)

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday)
Duration: 6+ Months
 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale marketing programs, product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and business transformation projects. This role will work closely with marketing, product, sales, and technology teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong program management expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience driving cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of marketing programs from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving marketing, product, sales, and technology teams.
  • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, timelines, and dependency tracking.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Create executive-level dashboards and reports to provide visibility into project status, budgets, resource utilization, and marketing performance metrics.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, planning sessions, status reviews, and decision-making discussions.
  • Manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and coordinate efforts across multiple teams.
  • Drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and best practices for program execution.
  • Partner with marketing operations, product management, and technical teams to optimize tools, workflows, and systems supporting program delivery.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives related to new processes, systems, and operating models.
 Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong experience leading marketing programs, go-to-market initiatives, product launches, or marketing transformation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage programs involving multiple teams and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing processes, campaign operations, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive-level dashboards, reports, and program updates.
  • Strong risk management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other project delivery methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, SAFe, or related project management certification.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and marketing technology ecosystems.
Background in process improvement, organizational change management, and operational transformation initiatives.
