Job description

New Berlin Hills Golf Course, located in New Berlin, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Grounds & Maintenance Staff! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Pay:
$14 - $16 based on experience
Schedule:
Must be available to work weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
  • Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, and utility vehicles.
  • Plants trees, shrubs, turfgrass, and flowers.
  • Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
  • Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
  • Maintains the landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer, and grooming.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
  • One month of related experience or training.

Certificates/Licenses:
  • Valid driver's license required.

Environment/Noise:
  • Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions, including warm, cold, wet, and dry.
