U.S. Army Clinical Laboratory Scientist (71E): Bridging the Gap Between Science and Patient Care

U.S. Army Clinical Laboratory Scientists are the critical link between cutting-edge science and lifesaving patient care. By conducting essential laboratory tests, these dedicated professionals safeguard the health and well-being of Soldiers and their families. If you're a laboratory science expert seeking a career that combines your passion for science with a commitment to service, the Army offers unparalleled opportunities to make a real difference.

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for the scientific research of biological fluids, such as blood or saliva for disease prevention. You will plan and execute laboratory testing and medical research, as well as providing advice, conducting research, and managing laboratory operations. To ensure your success as a laboratory scientist, you will attend trainings, continued education programs, seminars, and conference where you will be able to learn, compare best practices, and collaborate with other top professionals in your field.
