Then this Machine Shop Assistant opportunity with an established electromechanical manufacturing company in North Phoenix could be a great fit for you!

This company supports the aerospace, medical, and security industries and is looking for a dependable Machine Shop Assistant who is comfortable using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and industrial tools to support machinists, production, repairs, and general shop needs.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable manufacturing team, build your technical skills, and learn additional hands-on processes such as laser engraving, powder coating, and other technical applications that support a wide variety of products.

Machine Shop Assistant Job Duties:
• Read work orders to determine task specifications
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, power tools, and industrial tools to complete job duties
• Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines, equipment, or vehicles
• Complete written records of work performed
• Comply with OSHA and company safety rules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Deburr and clean stock and finished parts
• Help machinists move raw materials and finished products
• Assist with assembly, repair, and general machine shop support
• Learn additional skills such as laser engraving, powder coating, and other hands-on technical applications
• Support other company-related duties as needed

Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

Machine Shop Assistant Requirements:
• Previous mechanical, maintenance, assembly, or hands-on manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to follow assembly and repair instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and industrial tools
