Description:

The Logistics Manager at Hyper Solutions plays a key role in leading and optimizing logistics operations that support the manufacturing and delivery of mission-critical power infrastructure solutions. This position is responsible for transportation, warehousing, inventory flow, project logistics, and customer delivery execution across Hyper’s distributed manufacturing ecosystem.


Working closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Project Management, Procurement, and Customer Success teams, the Logistics Manager ensures materials and finished goods move efficiently from suppliers to manufacturing partners and ultimately to customer sites. This role is critical to supporting Hyper’s commitments to speed, transparency, quality, and on-time delivery while scaling operations to meet the demands of the rapidly growing data center industry.


This position is well-suited for a strategic and hands-on logistics leader who enjoys solving complex transportation challenges, optimizing supply chain performance, and building scalable logistics processes.


Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute logistics strategies that support Hyper's manufacturing and customer delivery operations 
  • Manage domestic and international transportation including LTL, FTL, expedited, air, ocean, and project-based freight 
  • Lead inbound and outbound logistics across suppliers, manufacturing partners, warehouses, and customer sites 
  • Develop logistics plans supporting large-scale data center deployments and phased customer deliveries 
  • Coordinate delivery schedules for critical power infrastructure including switchboards, PDUs, STS, transformers, busway, circuit breakers, and related equipment 
  • Manage carrier relationships, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers 
  • Negotiate transportation contracts, freight rates, and service agreements 
  • Monitor freight spend and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service levels 
  • Establish and monitor logistics KPIs including on-time delivery, freight cost, transit performance, and carrier scorecards 
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for transportation and logistics issues 


Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with Planning and Inventory teams to optimize inventory positioning and replenishment strategies 
  • Support warehouse operations and efficient material movement across the supply chain network 
  • Contribute to Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) by providing logistics capacity and transportation insights 
  • Participate in customer meetings and executive reviews to support project delivery planning 
  • Develop contingency plans for transportation disruptions and supply chain risks 
  • Manage freight claims, damage investigations, and recovery activities 
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, international shipping requirements, and trade compliance standards 
  • Support tariff mitigation strategies and global sourcing initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution management 
  • Experience managing transportation providers, freight contracts, and warehouse operations 
  • Strong ERP experience, preferably NetSuite or similar platforms 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills 
  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations 
  • Experience in data center infrastructure, mission-critical infrastructure, electrical equipment manufacturing, or industrial equipment 
  • Experience managing both domestic and international logistics operations 
  • APICS, CSCMP, CLTD, PMP, or similar professional certification 
  • Experience with transportation analytics and logistics performance reporting

Compensation

The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
