Job description

H&H is seeking a Manager, Learning & Development Systems to join the firm's New York City office. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution, administration, and continuous improvement of H&H University, ensuring the program operates efficiently, scales effectively, and remains aligned with the firm's technical practice and culture.

This position focuses on systems, operations, and program infrastructure. It enables technical leaders, project managers, and instructors to focus on teaching and mentoring by managing the tools, processes, and logistics that support program delivery. This role does not include responsibility for curriculum or instructional design.

Responsibilities

Program Operations and Administration
Manage the day-to-day operations of H&H University across all programs and learning tracks
Coordinate schedules, sessions, instructors, cohorts, and program logistics
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, instructors, and managers
Manage communications and calendars across offices and regions

Systems, Data, and Technology Enablement
Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a centralized learning and program governance platform
Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support participant and manager visibility
Track participation, completion, and required versus elective training
Ensure PDH tracking and documentation across jurisdictions
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to support scalability, compliance tracking, and executive reporting
Partner with Human Resources and IT to improve system functionality and performance

Platform and Vendor Integration
Utilize ADP Learning and ADP Workforce Now to support leadership and professional development programs
Track course participation and completion metrics
Evaluate and integrate external learning tools as appropriate

Stakeholder Communication and Enablement
Collaborate with program leadership, practice leaders, project managers, and Human Resources
Translate program needs into operational and system-based solutions
Support managers in understanding program expectations and participant progress

Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to program delivery and operations
Support pilot programs, new learning formats, and evolving development needs
Apply a structured and forward-looking approach to scaling programs while reducing administrative burden on technical staff

Reporting Structure
Primary reporting line to the Chief Technical Officer for program priorities and alignment with technical strategy
Secondary reporting line to Human Resources for performance management, systems, and operational alignment

Requirements

Five to ten years of experience in program operations, learning operations, systems administration, or related roles
Experience implementing, configuring, or managing learning management systems, HRIS platforms, or similar enterprise systems
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
Strong systems thinking and technical aptitude with learning platforms, data tracking, and reporting tools
Experience developing reports, dashboards, or tracking systems to monitor participation and program outcomes
Experience working cross-functionally with technical leadership, Human Resources, and operations teams
Experience with ADP Learning, ADP Workforce Now, or comparable platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting professional development in engineering, AEC, or technical environments
Experience launching or scaling internal learning or training programs
Experience driving adoption of new systems, tools, or processes
Familiarity with learning management systems such as ADP Learning, Cornerstone, or Workday Learning
Experience working with senior technical leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to manage ambiguity and build structure in evolving programs
Strong problem-solving skills with an operational and systems-focused mindset

Benefits
