System Engineer 6Location: Anne Arundel County, MDMinimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with FS Polygraph Individual starting pay for this position is determined by factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualification and skills.   This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with FS Polygraph U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use. Travel: Approximate 5 % travel requirement As a Systems Engineer 6, you will be responsible for leading the full technical execution of major programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality while overseeing complex lab infrastructure and networks that support advanced solution testing. It also serves as a key technical liaison to government stakeholders and senior leaders, resolving high‑impact issues and influencing program direction. Additionally, the role mentors junior engineers and provides hands‑on support to maintain smooth and reliable lab operations. Who You Are and What You Need:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 14+ years (or Master's with 12+ years or PhD with 10+ years) of relative engineering experience required.
