JOB SUMMARY
Provides on-site support to Employees and Customers of COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS.
Serves as backup to provide janitorial services on an as needed basis.
Assists Operations Manager with all day-to-day operations relating to janitorial contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contract management
  • Employee hiring, terminations, and development. Identify, schedule and conduct required training
  • Provides support to Employees of all Commercial Janitorial contracts
  • Provides administrative support to Operations Manager, Facilities Management of Janitorial Services
  • Serves as backup to provide janitorial services on an as needed basis
  • Assists Operations Manger with all day-to-day operations relating to janitorial contracts
  • Audits and approves all payroll using an online time keeping system keeping track of paid time off requests and attendance
  • Assists with ISO and CIMS as needed by attending meetings, compiling reports and writing policy. Assists in job costing & bid submission when necessary
  • Quality control program using an online Inspection software
  • Invoice processing as needed
  • Responsible for developing and executing a yearly work calendar to fulfill SOW requirements
  • Assists with site walk throughs and customer meetings
  • Assists with new business development, as requested
  • Attends other BDI sponsored meetings and training
  • Back fill cleaning vacancies as needed, thus fulfilling cleaner

  • Responsible for procuring materials & equipment in accordance with the budget & BDI procurement policy.
  • Responsible for insuring business continuity on all Janitorial contracts which may include performance of work tasks as necessary to meet the contractual requirements to the client.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
2 years janitorial supervision
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5 years direct employment in Janitorial/Custodial Management
Credentials in accepted Janitorial/Custodial Associations, etc.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency utilizing Desktop Computer, Lap top, iPad/Tablet, Microsoft Office Suite and other online programs
Must have valid driver's license
Requires background check
Must have ability to work rotating shifts & weekends
Must be able to travel on an as-needed basis
