Job Summary:

The adhesive inventory support role, under supervision of the Plant Manager, is responsible for inventory management at the adhesive plant, along with back up to the customer service representative. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work in a production/warehouse environment and an office environment. Will interact with vendors, transportation carriers, and customers on a regular basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Microsoft Office and Outlook experience required, particularly strong with Excel
  • Physically able to work in a hot environment for up to 8 hours per day

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Physically count plant supply inventories to determine if levels require reordering
  • Provide insight and improvement on storage areas and 5S projects to improve inventory systems
  • Work with vendors to order plant and office supplies with appropriate lead time using phone, email, and website portals
  • Manage site vendor information and purchase order system. This includes Purchase Order generation, Goods Receipts, Invoice Receipts, and resolving issues
  • Act as a liaison between customers, operations and sales teams
  • Capable of performing other duties assigned by management as required

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $22.40 - $38.17 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $26.00 to $28.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
