Job Title: Sr. Inventory Specialist

Location: Whitsett, NC 27377
Contract: 12 Months (Possibility of Permanent)
Pay: $30–$36/hour on W2
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Monday–Friday


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Inventory Specialist to support warehouse, receiving, inventory control, and 3PL operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 3PL receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and shipment accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and high-value inventory validation.
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies, damages, and purchase order issues.
  • Prepare inventory and logistics reports and track key performance metrics.
  • Support WIP inventory and manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with training and drive continuous improvement, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of warehouse receiving/inventory experience.
  • Strong inventory control and WMS/ERP experience.
  • Electronics manufacturing or distribution experience required; 3PL experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, ISO, OSHA, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Forklift certification/license preferred or required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
