If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to manage the integrity of the inventory within a facility and the reporting of inventory results to the client and the operation's management team.

What Are You Going To Do?

• Oversee and manage the Inventory Control department to ensure the integrity of the inventory and that all procedures and processes are followed and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with client requirements, system requirements, company policy, ISO guidelines, Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory requirements.
• Plan, execute and reconcile physical inventories.
• Oversee daily cycle counts, audits and reconciliation of activities between systems in accordance with contractual commitments.
• Ensure timely reporting and communication to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure that customer requirements are reported accurately and timely, according to customer specifications and contractual obligations.
• Resolve discrepancies and high-value variances through established investigative processes and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Organize data and provide results for management review and actions.
• Resolve production issues related to systems applications within the warehouse environment using technical/trouble shooting skills.
• Identify and/or solve operational and WMS issues within the work group to provide productive and quality results.
• Serve as the primary contact between the company and the client's Inventory Control team.
• Work collaboratively with the management team to provide recommendations and solutions to improve inventory accuracy.
• Identify and recommend enhancements to improve management and integrity of the inventory WMS system.
• Create, implement and update inventory operational Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop process and procedures for vendor compliance when applicable.
• Support the client with all reporting and queries needed.
• Balance with customer to all month end buckets and reports.
• Utilize superior communications skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives and customers.
• Develop and maintain staff and organizational development programs that provide adequate levels of training, succession planning, skill enhancement and overall department efficiency and capability.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within department and address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the Company.
• Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking and participation in professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum 5 years related experience. Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience. Minimum 3 years' industry experience. Valid state issued Driver's License. Forklift Driver Certification. Other professional certifications may be required. In-depth experience and knowledge in using computer systems, mainframe and workstations for management of inventory reconciliation, performance measurement and reporting (including WMS -Warehouse Management Systems.) In-depth experience in inventory control, cycle counting and quality assurance, (Lean, Six Sigma and ISO). Preferred: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline. Minimum 5 years' industry experience.
