Description:
The Inventory Management Coordinator requires a blend of skills and experience that are specifically focused on the inventory management of Amneal's finished goods inventory, pertaining to distribution. This position will be an integral component of the Logistics team by providing accurate details of on-hand inventory, inventory in-transit, cycle counts, coordination with Return Goods Department, and managing product(s) end of life cycles. Possesses a proven track record of successful inventory control management in a fast-pace and growing environment.
Essential Functions:
  • Runs a series of inventory reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and performs detailed analysis of items.
  • Maintains communication with the Product Supply Chain department to ensure proper procedures are met on incoming product.
  • Performs audits of inventory, when requested.
  • Performs inventory adjustments.
  • Develops accurate, consistent enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.
  • Identifies 'heavy' and 'low turn' inventory items, and coordinates consolidation program to ensure fast and accurate distribution.
  • Maintains item documentation - tracking, adjusting, and destruction forms.
  • Works in coordination with Returns Department on an as needed basis through inventory checks.
  • Ensures accurate labels meet HDMA guidelines.
  • Records all information required by DEA and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy pertaining to controlled substances in inventory for Kentucky facilities.
  • Develops a strategy to ensure proper procedures are followed pertaining to unsaleable product.

Qualifications
Education:
  • High School or GED - Required

Experience:
  • 1 year or more in Inventory control / Supply Chain / Distribution

Specialized Knowledge:
  • JD Edwards experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
