Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to ensure accurate financial reporting, support operational accounting activities, and maintain strong internal controls within a manufacturing or process-driven environment. This role partners closely with operations leadership to analyze costs, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis on production costs, labor, inventory, and operational expenses
- Support cost accounting, inventory accounting, and fixed asset reconciliations
- Partner with operations teams to analyze cost drivers and efficiency metrics
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Support external audits and compliance requirements
- Assist with inventory valuation and tracking processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred
