How does a manager interpreter supervisor balance administrative duties with supporting interpreter team members in their daily work?

A Manager Interpreter Supervisor typically splits their time between overseeing scheduling, maintaining quality standards, and providing mentorship to interpreters. While administrative responsibilities such as performance evaluations and compliance tracking are crucial, these supervisors also play a hands-on role in resolving complex language service situations and supporting team members' professional development. Effective supervisors foster open communication, facilitate training sessions, and ensure interpreters have the resources needed to succeed, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
