This is a premier opportunity for a full-time Optometrist to join a thriving, doctor-owned MD/OD private practice in Schaumburg, IL. This unique role encourages and supports doctors to practice medically and specialize their care if desired, offering the professional freedom to shape your clinical path within an expanding, highly collaborative setting. With full operational and technician support, you can focus on delivering exemplary care while enjoying a fantastic quality of life in one of Chicagoland's premier suburban hubs.

Location

Located just 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, Schaumburg offers an exceptional blend of suburban comfort and big-city accessibility. Known for its world-class shopping, diverse culinary scene, top-rated school districts, and extensive park district facilities, Schaumburg is one of the most desirable communities in the Greater Chicago area. Residents enjoy vibrant local entertainment, beautiful green spaces like the Spring Valley Nature Center, and easy access to both O'Hare International Airport and the rich cultural offerings of Chicago.

Organization Overview

Our practice is a leader in comprehensive primary and medical eye care, committed to a model that empowers doctors to practice with complete professional autonomy. We believe that providers should be free to focus entirely on exemplary patient care, which is why we provide full ancillary business and technician support—including complete pre-testing, billing, and administrative workflow management.

The practice environment is energetic, high-tech, and supportive, designed for a clinician who wants to manage a diverse patient base spanning all ages. By removing administrative bottlenecks and handling pre-screening, our experienced technical team ensures you have the exact infrastructure needed to prioritize clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

  • Licensure: Valid Optometry License (or license-eligible) in the state of Illinois.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills with a desire to practice medical-based optometry.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively alongside fellow clinicians and expert support staff.

  • Financial Incentives: Retention bonuses and structured incentive plans to maximize your earning potential.
  • Student Loan Support: Dedicated student loan reimbursement programs available.
  • Full Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plus a company-matched retirement plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) with flexible scheduling to protect your time outside the clinic.
  • Professional Growth: Continuing Education (CE) reimbursement and full backing to expand specialized clinical services.
