Many products are live today; the biggest bets - an AI-first contact center and an AI-native consumer banking experience - are what comes next. Backed by $30M in Series A funding and already cash-flow positive, we're at the inflection point: a proven product, paying customers, and a profitable business rebuilding itself as an AI-native company to lead a world where agents, not software, do the work.
Role Overview
We're rebuilding interface.ai as an AI-native company - and the revenue engine has to scale as fast as the product does. As VP of Sales, you own the entire new-business function: pipeline, forecasting, deal velocity, the team, and the number.
This is not a build-the-market-from-zero job. The product works, more than 100 financial institutions run on it, and the business is cash-flow positive. The job is to take a proven motion selling agentic AI into a regulated industry and scale it - sharper playbooks, faster cycles, bigger strategic deals, and a sales organization that consistently wins against every alternative a bank or credit union could choose.
You'll work directly with Srinivas Njay (Founder & CEO), who is hands-on daily across product and go-to-market, and you'll sit at the table where pricing, packaging, and roadmap decisions get made. What you learn in deals will shape what we build - in days, not quarters.
What You'll Own
  • The number. The entire new-revenue function - pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, execution, and deal velocity across our ICP of credit unions and community banks.
  • The playbook. Sales strategy and frameworks for selling AI-powered products into regulated financial institutions - territory planning, quota design, channel strategy, and repeatable motions that accelerate enterprise cycles.
  • The team. Hire, coach, and retain high-performing Account Executives, SDRs, and Regional Sales Leaders. Build a culture of performance, accountability, and constant enablement - ICP fluency, value articulation, and objection handling that actually holds up in the room.
  • The biggest deals. Lead strategic opportunities with C-level executives at financial institutions, and set pricing and contract strategy for long-term, high-value partnerships.
  • The alignment. Feed deal intelligence into Product, sharpen messaging and campaigns with Marketing, hand off cleanly to Customer Success for expansion, and unlock new segments through Channel and Alliance partnerships.
  • The stage. Represent interface.ai at key industry events and customer forums - you are the face of our revenue story.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years in B2B enterprise sales, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role driving revenue growth, building teams, and closing high-value, complex deals - ideally in SaaS or fintech.
  • A proven builder of sales organizations - you've hired, scaled, and led teams at a SaaS company, and the people you've coached would follow you again.
  • Fluency in the metrics that matter - sales velocity, pipeline conversion, ACV growth, ARR, time-to-value. You run the funnel on data and keep the CRM honest, not because someone asks, but because forecasting accuracy is how you operate.
  • Comfort in complexity - regulated industries, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, and executive engagement at the C-suite of financial institutions.
  • A coach and an operator - exceptional people leadership, and equally comfortable in the deal, in the data, and on the stage.
  • AI-native by habit - you use generative AI tools daily to move faster and think sharper, and you expect your team to do the same.
  • Self-directed and decisive - you identify problems before they're assigned, propose solutions before they're requested, and close loops without reminders.
  • On-Site in downtown San Francisco office 5 days a week - We provide commuter benefits if in the general Bay Area.
