Position: Levenfeld Pearlstein is seeking an experienced and innovative Legal Innovation Manager to join our esteemed law firm. This role is pivotal in exploring and implementing AI-integrated software solutions, creating new processes, and enhancing efficiencies for our legal staff. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in knowledge management or innovation, with an understanding of legal technology tools within a law firm environment, and will report directly to the Director of Knowledge and Innovation.

Experience that makes you a fit:

  • Identifying and evaluating AI-integrated software solutions to streamline legal processes and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with the LP community to understand their needs and challenges and designing custom workflows to address all aspects of the AI lifecycle.
  • Leading the implementation and integration of new technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and maximum benefit.
  • Managing the continuous improvement of knowledge management systems, leveraging AI to enhance data retrieval and information sharing.
  • Training and supporting legal staff on the use of new technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented solutions, providing regular feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in AI and legal technology and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Capturing and analyzing usage data and feedback, evaluate opportunities for improvement, and working with legal staff to develop plans to increase adoption.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in knowledge management or innovation within a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of applications in the legal sector, particularly AI-integrated solutions and GenAI such as frontier models and agentic AI.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing software solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • Independent thinker who can take initiative and manage processes with little supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing projects from inception through planning, execution, and completion.

Reporting

This role reports directly to the Director of Knowledge and Innovation.

Salary and benefits: The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. LP believes this is the pay range it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be contingent on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position. LP offers generous compensation and benefits packages, including medical, dental, and vision benefits and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
