TEKsystems is hiring a Sales Manager for a client in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area who is familair working with government agencies. This is a contract to hire opportunity. This will be Hybrid (In office for occasional meetings) and required to travel for client visits.

As the Sales Manager you will drive new business revenue for our clients software solutions and IT services across the U.S. market. Based in south florida, this role manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to negotiation and contract close. The position focuses on government, enterprise, and regulated-sector clients in Florida and nationwide, positioning as a trusted technology partner.

Daily Responsibilities:

Sales Execution & Pipeline Development

â–ª Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across government, enterprise, and commercial accounts in Florida and nationally.

â–ª Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through discovery, solution presentation, proposal, negotiation, and contract close.

â–ª Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular CRM updates.

â–ª Meet and exceed assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets.

â–ª Identify and pursue opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, partner channels, industry events, and inbound leads.Client Relationship Management

â–ª Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers including CIOs, IT Directors,

Procurement Officers, and Operations leaders.

â–ª Understand clients' business challenges and align Dalil's software and service capabilities to deliver measurable value.

â–ª Serve as the primary point of contact for new accounts through the sales process and ensure smooth handoff to delivery teams post-close.

â–ª Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to expand Dalil's footprint.

Solution Positioning & Collaboration

â–ª Develop a solid understanding of Dalil's software products and IT service offerings to confidently position solutions across different verticals.

â–ª Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

â–ª Collaborate with marketing to leverage campaigns, events, content, and digital channels for lead generation.

â–ª Partner with channel partners and system integrators where applicable to expand market reach.

Market Development & Reporting

â–ª Identify emerging opportunities and market trends in the U.S. IT services and software sector relevant to Dalil's capabilities.

â–ª Represent Dalil at industry conferences, networking events, trade shows, and professional associations in the Miami and broader U.S. market.

â–ª Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback to the Branch Manager and leadership team.

â–ª Track competitor activity and provide intelligence to inform Dalil's positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Top Requirements Details

â–ª Experience selling to U.S. government agencies at the federal, state, or local level (SLED or federal market experience).

â–ª Familiarity with U.S. government procurement processes including SAM.gov, GSA Schedule, or IDIQ contract vehicles.

â–ª Existing professional network in the Miami business community or the broader Florida technology sector.

â–ª Experience working with or through system integrators, resellers, or channel partners.

â–ª Knowledge of cloud services, SaaS platforms, digital transformation, or managed IT services.

Skills & Qualifications

â–ª Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technology environment.

â–ª Experience selling to government agencies (federal, state, or local), enterprise organizations, or regulated industries.

â–ª Strong understanding of the technology sales process from prospecting and solution selling through contract negotiation and close.

â–ª Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) for pipeline management and reporting.

â–ª Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills able to engage confidently at the executive level.

â–ª Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-growing, startup-stage branch.
