Role Objective: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Education & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This critical role will spearhead the development and execution of the Stylist facing Brand digital education strategy, ensuring seamless integration with broader marketing initiatives and close collaboration with education and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital platforms, content strategy, and the professional salon landscape.
Job Responsibilities
Digital Education for Salon Professionals:
  • Execute the overarching digital education strategy for L'Oréal Professional Products brands salon professionals. Strategic planning includes the following areas : Content, Platforms, Marketing, Measurement and Data.
  • Define and implement the digital education platform strategy, including framework development, best practices, and management of 3rd party partners. Key objective to drive reach of stylists and views of education content.
  • Lead education content strategy and management, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and informative content across all digital platforms. Partner with internal content center who will lead production and creation on content needs. Manage content production budget.
  • Lead social education content strategies specifically for YouTube, TikTok, PPD Access and other relevant platforms. Liaise with SalonCentric for education content needs for site, social and Pro Beauty Central. Partner with Education and Marketing to align to priorities and key industry trends. Includes content planning, research, SEO analysis, etc to ensure content is relevant.
  • Develop and manage influencer and brand artist education content programs. Includes identifying potential pro stylist creators with focus on YouTube.
  • Own digital education reporting and analytics leveraging tools such as Rival IQ and Traackr. Track the social impact of Pro Influencers, Artist Network i.e. product launches, events, activities, etc. Reporting with ladder into Divisional Dashboard which is published monthly.
  • Partner with Brand and SalonCentric DDX teams to cross amplify education initiatives and drive stylists down the education/ purchase funnel via CRM and other opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive digital education offerings to ensure we are offering best-in-class virtual Education. Act as a quick reference for Marketing team.
  • Create, film and edit short-form and long-form content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms as needed.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator behavior and evolving content formats to keep education relevant and competitive.
  • Deliver education confidently on camera and in front of live audiences, including salons, academies and events.
  • Turn in-person education into scalable digital assets that drive reach and engagement.
  • Translate in-salon, academy and live event education into scalable digital content that reaches stylists wherever they learn.

Marketing of Education:
  • Oversee the development and management of all assets and creative needs for marketing and promoting education initiatives. Channels include brand platforms, SalonCentric, PPD Level Loyalty.
  • Strategically plan and utilize marketing levers to support education initiatives with goal of driving ticket sales/sign ups, including media, CRM, social media, and other relevant channels. Manage any relevant fuel budget to support marketing levers and plans.
  • Partner with Education training team to ensure education class offerings are positioned for success. Manage class names, descriptions, and assets for product detail pages (PDPs) for educational offerings.

Collaboration with Education, Training, & Marketing Teams:
  • Ensure seamless integration of digital education plans within 360° marketing campaigns and new product launches.
  • Establish and maintain a streamlined digital education planning process.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the beauty or salon industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital education or content strategies.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and influencer marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the Beauty Industry
  • Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to travel 30-35% of the time
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Ability to translate product initiatives into relevant, Pro-facing brand educational and social moments
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently, as the role requires someone who can confidently manage projects, create content, travel, and execute initiatives on their own without heavy oversight or micromanagement
