The Manager-In-Training position is an amazing opportunity for new leaders to catapult their career and earning potential to the next level. Our Managers are the ambassador of the Taco Mama brand for their restaurant. The MIT helps to create a festive environment for team members and guests by leading with authenticity.

The goal of the MIT is to be a dynamic leader of him/herself, their team, and provide an unmatched culinary experience for our guests. This person must possess a genuine love for people, great food, and have a passion to develop others. The MIT must have high standards for themselves, their team, service, food quality, cost controls, and the overall operation of the restaurant.

The MIT, along with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, is responsible for the overall profitability of the restaurant, the overall satisfaction of guests, and the overall satisfaction of all team members.
