Job description

TMH is seeking an experienced staff accountant.
Position Description:
The position is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting support services in the areas of client accounting, payroll and tax preparation. The position assures all financials are maintained and administered without error.
We are looking for a highly organized professional with excellent interpersonal skills and must be an integral team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assures all financials are maintained and administered without error.
  • Records, reviews, and/or monitors regular input of client transactions, including deposits and expense.
  • Reconciles all financial statements on a monthly basis.
  • Prepares quarterly financial reports.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly journal entries.
  • Prepares business and individual income tax returns.

General:
  • Supports the strategic goals and mission.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must have the schedule freedom to work Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Sitting, standing, walking and lifting.
  • Acute verbal, hearing and visual senses required for communication.
  • Manual dexterity and visual capability to use a computer, audio/visual and general office equipment.
  • Must be able to walk up stairs and may include lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
