Regional Facilities Manager


Position Overview


The Regional Facilities Manager is an operations leadership role responsible for maintaining high facility standards across multiple ice arenas. This position provides regional operational oversight, team support, training, and accountability for rink operations teams throughout the organization. This role supports and evaluates other areas to ensure safe, efficient, and professional operations aligned with company standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day rink operations, maintenance coordination, and overall performance at regional ice facilities
  • Conduct regular site visits and operational assessments
  • Support local leadership teams in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional environments
  • Help create consistency in procedures, maintenance standards, and reporting practices across all locations
  • Train, mentor, and develop managers, ice technicians, and operations personnel
  • Ensure teams meet company expectations for cleanliness, upkeep, safety, and overall presentation
  • Identify inefficiencies, staffing concerns, repair needs, and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, automation controls, and other critical infrastructure
  • Use building automation and monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and improve performance
  • Assist with preventative maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and emergency response efforts
  • Provide guidance during major repairs, shutdowns, and special projects
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between rink teams, leadership, vendors, and ownership
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, urgency, and pride throughout the division
  • Provide scheduling oversight for cost saving and labor efficiency
  • Employee evaluations


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in ice arena management and rink operations
  • Knowledge of refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, mechanical rooms, and automation controls
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to coach, develop, and guide teams effectively
  • Sound judgment with strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and support several locations simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety, appearance, and performance standards
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and operational awareness
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
