Job description

Description:

ASG Power, a division of HESCO, is seeking a “Sales Hunter” to grow our presence in the New England market—focused on industrial automation, and Industrial Controls. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with OEMs, System Integrators, and End Users in industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chip production. This role will focus on growing ASG’s presence throughout New England.

This role requires an individual who has a technical understanding of power distribution and automation systems. The New Business Development Manager will be instrumental in helping customers deploy smarter, more efficient, and sustainable power systems through ASG Power’s partnerships with leading manufacturers.

The successful candidate will also leverage digital tools such as HubSpot CRM, marketing automation platforms, and content-led sales to identify new opportunities, educate customers, and position ASG Power as a trusted advisor in the renewable and industrial sectors.

Requirements:
  • Drive Revenue Growth through new and existing accounts within the assigned territory, aligning with ASG Power’s annual sales and gross profit objectives.
  • Develop a Territory Plan that integrates both traditional face-to-face selling and digital outreach strategies.
  • Leverage HubSpot CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct Technical Presentations, webinars, and virtual product demos for decision-makers and engineering teams.
  • Identify and Develop New Opportunities in power distribution and industrial automation projects, including control panel solutions, hazardous-rated cables, and system components.
  • Partner with Manufacturers (such as Rockwell Automation and other key vendors) to coordinate product launches, promotions, and joint customer initiatives.
  • Monitor and Analyze Market Trends to uncover new verticals, applications, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a Robust Sales Funnel, tracking performance metrics and conversion rates using CRM analytics.
  • Foster Long-term Relationships with key customers by maintaining regular communication and proactive account support.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or related field).

  • Minimum 3–5 years in industrial automation or power distribution sales.
  • Experience working with Rockwell Automation, panel shops, or industrial OEMs strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and basic digital marketing tools.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and power components.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
