Job description

Position Overview

 

Help shape the terrain that defines the mountain experience at Mt. Hood Meadows as our next Terrain Park Grooming Supervisor. This hands-on leadership role combines advanced park grooming with crew supervision, equipment operation, park construction, and coordination with Ski Patrol, Park Crew, Events, and other mountain departments.

You’ll be responsible for directing daily operations, assigning work, managing staffing and resources, maintaining high grooming and safety standards, and supporting the development of your team. From building and maintaining features to navigating changing weather, snow conditions, and operational priorities, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality product while keeping the crew safe, supported, and productive.

This is a full-time, seasonal position

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Be at least 19 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Previous Park Grooming Experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Have a reliable plan to get to work during winter conditions.
  • Possess basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Be able to work on a full-time basis.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience 

  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience 
  • Familiar with MHM park grooming operations.
  • Previous winch cat operation experience
  • Half pipe construction and maintenance experience

Compensation:

  • Starting Wage: $ 26.56 $32.46 hourly
