Job description

We are searching for our next Marketing Specialist to help tell our story and support our growth as a custom homebuilding company in the Central Indiana area. This is a full-time role that blends strategic marketing execution with hands-on creative production, including digital content and reporting, design work, and community events.


We are open to candidates whose strengths lean more toward marketing strategy and digital execution, or more toward graphic design and event coordination. The responsibilities below reflect the full scope of the department and may be shaped around the successful candidate’s strengths.

Compensation:

$25 hourly+ Depending on Experience


Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing & Content

  • Manage and create content for social media channels, including available lots, homes for sale, finished homes, and groundbreakings
  • Maintain the company blog and coordinate blog and social content calendars
  • Update and maintain the company website, including new employees, floor plans, available homes, communities, job postings, and pricing
  • Manage Google Business Profile listings across communities and monitor/respond to Google reviews
  • Write and distribute email newsletters and other client communications
  • Coordinate digital advertising efforts (Google Ads, Zillow, and similar platforms), including work with outside vendors
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics


Design & Creative Production

  • Coordinate closing photography, Matterport tours, and photo editing for completed homes
  • Design signage, brochures, and other print and digital marketing materials
  • Coordinate signage installation with outside vendors
  • Maintain showcase home marketing materials and respond to miscellaneous design requests


Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate open houses, including flyers, scheduling, and promotion
  • Support sponsorship coordination and community event marketing (e.g., seasonal or homeowner-focused events)
  • Coordinate recognition programs, such as employee and client milestones
  • Coordinate closing gifts and other client experience touches


Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare regular marketing reports for ownership
  • Conduct periodic audits of the website and marketing materials for accuracy
  • Manage marketing supplies, swag, and vendor ordering (homeowner manuals, guides, apparel, etc.)
  • Support the sales team with ad hoc marketing requests

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of marketing experience; related industry experience a plus
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between communities and job sites


RELEVANT SKILLS & TOOLS (Preferred but not required)

  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • HubSpot or similar CRM platform
  • Google Ads and Google Business Profile management
  • Basic photography and photo editing
  • Social media scheduling and email marketing tools
