Portfolio Optimization Business Analyst

Job Location: Essex, CT

Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days in Office/ 2 Days Remote

Job Summary:

The Portfolio Optimization Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of product-related business intelligence and the effectiveness of associated processes that touch virtually all areas of the organization. The Analyst works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, global business environment, successfully juggling multiple, simultaneous, high-priority projects and processes. S/he: translates price strategies, contractual and product line requirements into efficient operational processes (i.e. business rule-based automated pricing routines, data structure for new transactions such as surplus, pipeline data, etc.). S/he maintains and manages data and classification across pricing and product assortment S/he: performs commercial and data analysis to support product line and customer management and new business opportunities. S/he: leads the execution and continuous improvement of key product line management processes (i.e. assortment review, dead stock review, win-rate review). Analysts add core value by taking ownership to offer and drive efficient, innovative, and effective product-related data and process solutions.

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • 3-4 Years of Related Work Experience in Business Analytics or Data Science
  • Ability to develop robust tools for performance tracking and operational analysis within Excel and Power BI required
  • Strong skills in interpreting data trends and converting insights into practical, scalable solutions required
