Apple Mountain Golf Course located in Clarkesville, Georgia is seeking a part-time Pro Shop Attendant to join our team.  Please see a general job description below and should you feel your knowledge, education and experience could be a match, apply today!

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Must be available weekends

Pro Shop Operation Hours:
6:30am - 6:30pm

Job Description:

Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with inside services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse and pro shop.
  • Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
  • Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests.
  • Responsibly and accurately handles cash and or credit cards.
  • Support business operations though scheduling tee times, resolving customer concerns and selling merchandise. 
  • Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
  • May direct start of play.
  • Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
  • Assists with food and beverage activities as needed.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Any other duties as assigned by direct manager/supervisor.

Degree/Licenses:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Regularly stands, walks and sits.  Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels.  Frequently uses hands to finger feel or handle; reaches with arms.  Frequently talks and hears.  Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.Â
