Job description

About the Role

Verkada is looking for a commercially minded, customer-centric Manager of Global Reverse Logistics to join our team in San Mateo. Verkada's enterprise physical security ecosystem is growing rapidly, and our ability to deliver seamless, world-class post-purchase support is a critical competitive advantage.
In this role, you will hold complete P&L accountability for Verkada's global reverse logistics business. You will design, scale, and manage a high-performance fulfillment and return network that balances friction-free customer experiences with tight operational efficiency. By leading our third-party logistics (3PL) network and tracking granular performance metrics, you will ensure our Advanced Replacement and RMA programs serve as powerful retention tools while enabling efficient, low-friction handoff of returned inventory for downstream processing.

What You'll Do
  • Own the global reverse logistics P&L while optimizing spend across transportation, 3PL processing, inventory carrying costs, and asset recovery yields.
  • Champion the end-to-end return journey by streamlining the RMA lifecycle to reduce turnaround times, boost NPS, and hit strict SLAs for enterprise clients.
  • Scale and architect our global network of return hubs and consolidation centers across Americas, EMEA, and APAC to minimize transit costs and speed up processing.
  • Enforce strict SLAs, processing accuracy, and shrinkage limits across global 3PL partners through rigorous vendor management and KPI tracking.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to turn customer friction into operational fixes and build scalable return policies.
  • Manage the health, velocity, and accuracy of replacement pools and returned inventory within the ERP system to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize hardware recovery value.
What You Bring
  • 8-10+ years of leadership in global logistics or supply chain, with a dedicated focus on reverse logistics, RMA operations, global logistics for hardware or retail - electronics experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to, perform cost-benefit analyses on network adjustments, freight optimization, and vendor contracts.
  • Expert-level mastery of logistics KPIs (e.g., Dock-to-Stock time, RMA cycle time, 3PL inventory accuracy, freight spend efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics).
  • Proficiency utilizing enterprise ERP infrastructure (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) combined with data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel, Claude, etc.) to build performance dashboards and extract operational insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (CSCP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • A customer-first mindset that treats reverse logistics as a value-add touchpoint for brand loyalty rather than just a cost center.
  • You know how to build mutually beneficial relationships with global 3PLs while maintaining the firm leverage required to enforce strict performance standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
Employee Benefits

  • Health Saving Account (HSA) with annual employer contributions and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with tax saving options
