Plans, organizes, and directs all activities associated with enterprise master data governance, including policy development, standards management, stewardship alignment, quality oversight, compliance, and continuous improvement. Oversees SOX compliance requirements related to master data and ensures robust execution of data quality management processes to optimize accuracy, consistency, control, and business value. Plans, Organizes, And Directs All Activities Associated With Enterprise Master Data Governance, Including Policy Development, Standards Management, Stewardship Alignment, Quality Oversight, Compliance, And Continuous Improvement. Scope Includes Create and execute the enterprise governance strategy, governance principles, and operating plans for master data across customer, material, vendor, and emerging domains; scope spans all of 3M's data inventory as well as data inventories operating under a transition services agreement. Lead the global master data governance framework, ensuring effective policies, standards, controls, and decision rights are in place Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align master data priorities with enterprise growth strategies and operational needs Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on complex data governance, quality, risk, and process issues Oversee master data-related SOX compliance and control execution to ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment Lead enterprise data quality efforts, including performance oversight of data quality operations and continuous improvement initiatives Drive cross-functional governance and stewardship engagement across business groups and enterprise functions Establish scalable processes and governance mechanisms and governance measurements to support transformation, standardization, and operational excellence Monitor governance performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement improvements to strengthen data integrity and business outcomes Your Skills And Expertise Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Two (2) years combined experience in at least one master data domain (customer, material or vendor) Ten (10) combined years' experience in supply chain, business transformation, operations, data management, sales, marketing, and/or customer service in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field Knowledge of, or experience with, 3M's ERP deployment methodology Experience in project management or process improvement, including ability to create, implement & govern processes, with focus on continuously improving and optimizing processes in a changing environment Work location Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
