Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Surveyor to join our forward-thinking Survey/Geospatial team in Biddeford, ME!

As a Project Surveyor, you'll be a key player in shaping transformative projects across the region, combining advanced technology with your technical expertise to provide clients with the most accurate and dependable data in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and prepare complete boundary and ALTA surveys by compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location.
  • Provide accurate computation for the layout of infrastructure, buildings, subdivisions, roads and lots.
  • Provide assistance to Project Managers in the preparation of proposals, estimates, reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents.
  • Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks on more complex projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of project/task work plans.
  • Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives.
  • Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.
  • May supervise assignments given to the Survey Technician(s).

Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • LSIT or PLS required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, TBC (Trimble Business Center) & MicroStation proficiency preferred.
  • Proficient in various data techniques and coding systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of various surveying instruments, techniques, and computations.
  • Advanced understanding of angular and linear measurement systems.
  • Valid drivers' license required and ability to operate a motor vehicle. MVR will be checked and monitored.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $62,300 to $92,600 per year (depending on qualifications)
