Job description

Our client is a well-established engineering firm seeking a Geomatics Survey Project Manager to join their team in the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will bring extensive surveying experience across multiple disciplines with a proven ability to manage projects from kickoff through final deliverables.
Job Responsibilities -
- Lead full lifecycle management of survey projects, ensuring profitability, timeline adherence, and budget accountability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication on scope, progress, and deliverables.
- Perform a wide range of survey types including boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of-way, transmission line, and construction surveys.
-Direct daily activities of field crews and office technicians to meet project milestones and quality standards.
- Review and approve all deliverables including plats, maps, and legal descriptions while maintaining rigorous quality control.
- Develop project schedules, define objectives, and allocate resources across concurrent assignments.
Job Requirements -
- 8+ years of professional surveying experience across multiple disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- 3+ years of direct client-facing project management experience.
- Proficiency with LiDAR data extraction, Smartsheet, and Deltek Vision or similar software.
- Must hold a Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) certification with ability to obtain a NC PLS license within one year.
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field preferred.
