Job description

Franchise Business Partner
Job Title: Franchise Business Partner
Work Arrangement: Flexible/Remote with significant domestic and international travel required (50%+)
Reports To: Divisional Vice President, Central
Who We Are
Crunch Fitness is a rapidly expanding fitness brand with over 600 franchised and corporate-owned gyms across the United States and internationally. We are not chasing trends, we are building a brand people trust, in gyms people actually want to walk into.
This is a high-growth team with real room to move. Professional development and advancement here are not a talking point, they are how we operate. Join us and help redefine what a fitness brand can be.
Your Impact
The Franchise Business Partner is the connective tissue between Crunch Fitness and the franchisees who bring our brand to life every day, including our master franchisee partners in Canada and Mexico. You will sit close to the business and close to the people, because at Crunch those are never separate conversations.
Your job is to help franchisees win. That means stronger sales, sharper operations, growing Personal Training and Group Fitness revenue, and members who stay because the experience is real. This role also asks you to lead across borders and cultures, adapting to the market dynamics, regulations, and expectations that come with the U.S., Canadian, and Mexican markets.
This is a role for someone who leads with judgment, not just process. If you want a career where your impact reaches gyms across multiple countries and your own growth compounds along with it, this is where you build it.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Operational Excellence & Performance
  • Partner with franchisees, including master franchisees in Canada and Mexico, to implement operational best practices, ensuring consistent performance and meeting key metrics.
  • Support new gym openings and presales across all supported markets, ensuring successful launches and a smooth transition to operational performance.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to drive membership growth, optimize Personal Training revenue, and enhance Group Fitness programs.
  • Monitor sales trends and create action plans for underperforming gyms, focusing on sustainable growth.
  • Train and develop franchise team members to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that member satisfaction metrics are consistently monitored and address any gaps to ensure superior experiences.
  • Lead annual business reviews and quarterly check-ins, establishing goals and tracking progress.
  • Lead and support the implementation of corporate programs and initiatives at franchise locations, adapting rollout as needed for master franchisee markets

Franchise Collaboration & Support
  • Provide strategic guidance and proactive support to address challenges, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure alignment with Crunch's vision across domestic and international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with franchisees and master franchisee leadership teams, ensuring open communication.
  • Advocate for franchisee success, helping to optimize business outcomes.
  • Monitor franchisee satisfaction, supporting improvements.

Leadership & Brand Alignment
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to franchise teams, helping develop local leadership capabilities and promoting a culture of accountability, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Ensure consistency in the delivery of Crunch's values, mission, and member experience across all supported countries.
  • Promote and uphold Crunch's brand standards, delivering a consistent, high-quality experience across all franchise locations, including international markets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, foster community engagement, and enhance Crunch's reputation and customer loyalty in each local market.

What Success Looks Like
  • Franchisees, including master franchisee partners in Canada and Mexico, achieve measurable improvements in performance, including membership growth, PT revenue, and operational compliance.
  • Franchisee satisfaction scores reflect strong, supportive partnerships across all markets.
  • Brand standards are consistently maintained, delivering superior member experience domestically and internationally.
  • Franchise Business Partner metrics, including franchisee satisfaction and gym performance KPIs, are achieved or exceeded.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in franchise operations or multi-unit business management, preferably in fitness or a related industry.
  • Experience working with master franchisees or in international/multi-country franchise operations preferred.
  • Proven track record in driving operational success and building strong partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with cultural fluency to work effectively across the U.S., Canadian, and Mexican markets.
  • Spanish and/or French language proficiency a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally (50%+ travel required); valid passport required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands across multiple markets and time zones.

This is a remote position.
