Standard Job Description Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions

Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement

Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Basic Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical or relevant discipline and 3 years of manufacturing experience or 2 years of manufacturing experience with a master's degree. Experience leading a team effort in manufacturing assembly, integration, and/or test operations within a production environment.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background investigation to obtain "employee possessor" approval (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Government Customer Representatives. LM Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification. Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LM-MFC) production data systems (Winchill MPM-Link, Apriso, SAP), (LM MFC) test equipment and tooling hardware and document control.

Experience with design, fabrication, installation, initial calibration, prove-out and maintenance of special tools and equipment, continuous yield improvement activities, root cause and corrective action analysis, cost reduction (affordability) and post-production depot operation activities.
