Job description

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Professional Development

· Participate in a structured sales training program covering packaging solutions, sales techniques, market analysis, and CRM systems.

· Develop a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry, customer applications, and manufacturing processes.

· Learn consultative selling strategies and customer relationship management best practices.

Business Development & Lead Generation

· Identify, research, and qualify prospective customers through outbound outreach, networking, and market research.

· Generate and develop sales opportunities within targeted market segments.

· Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.

Customer Engagement

· Assist with customer communications, product inquiries, and quote preparation.

· Support account development activities and relationship-building initiatives.

· Participate in customer visits and presentations alongside experienced sales professionals.

Sales & Marketing Support

· Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.

· Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, operations, graphics, and production to support customer needs.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system.

Market Intelligence

· Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

· Identify emerging markets and growth opportunities.

· Share insights and recommendations with the sales team.

Performance & Accountability

· Achieve established activity metrics, including prospecting calls, meetings scheduled, and lead generation goals.

· Demonstrate continuous improvement throughout the training program.

QualificationsEducation

· Bachelor's degree is preferred in Packaging Science, Food Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or related field.

· Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience

· 0–2 years of professional experience.

· Internship, leadership, customer service, or sales experience is a plus.

· Strong interest in pursuing a career in B2B sales.

Skills & Attributes

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

· Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.

· Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt.
