Job Summary:

The Purchasing Supervisor, will be responsible for procuring equipment, materials, services, and land or access rights required by the organization. The role involves assessing requirements, managing tenders and supplier negotiations, coordinating delivery schedules, and supporting contract and purchasing activities to ensure operational needs are met efficiently.

What you will be doing:

  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
