Job Role Description

The Identity and Access Management Technologist is responsible for overseeing systems, infrastructure, and security requirements for authentication and access management across the entire enterprise portfolio. This role encompasses modern and legacy identity providers, authentication protocols, and account stores in both cloud and on-premise environments. It ensures that authentication systems are secure, performant, and highly available, while also providing education, guidance, and support for tools used to scan applications and identify vulnerabilities. It also includes designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that manage and secure privileged access to critical resources within an organization, including password and secret vaults. Additionally, this role includes the configuration and management of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems that ensure users have the right access to resources, maintain compliance with policies, and streamline identity lifecycle processes. Frequent engagement and coordination with IAM, Cybersecurity, and Software Security teams is essential to limit enterprise risk.

Job Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of advanced strategies to enhance authentication and access management systems, privileged access management systems, or identity governance and administration platforms
  • Oversee and manage complex projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with security objectives
  • Analyze and interpret high-level data to inform decision-making and improve IAM processes
  • Lead interactions with IAM, Cybersecurity, and Software Security teams to drive initiatives and achieve targets
  • Provides strategic insights and recommendations for systems and process improvements to enhance the overall IAM portfolio.
  • Implement and maintain cutting-edge best practices to optimize performance, security, and efficiency
  • Train and mentor team members and technologists on authentication protocols and security procedures
  • Assess and influence new compliance frameworks with relevant regulations and standards, focusing on limiting enterprise risk.
