Job description

Our client, a public accounting firm is currently seeking an Audit Manager to join their audit team.

Audit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards
  • Keep current and maintain a working knowledge of pertinent information relevant to the client's industry
  • Oversee engagement management, including managing the budget and progress while monitoring the timeline to complete the job effectively and efficiently
  • Set the culture for your team and mentor members in their career development
  • Build the client relationships by providing an excellent client experience
  • Understand and utilize company audit processes and procedures
  • Proactively develop business

Audit Manager Qualifications:

  • Five + years of current and/or recent audit experience within a public accounting firm
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Licensed CPA in their home state
  • Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
