Overview

GDI- Senior Event Marketing Manager

 

Manage and execute event marketing initiatives and team in lead generation best practices for office to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets. This is achieved primarily through event participation/sponsorship, retail partnership, community outreach and related programs.

Base Pay: $60K PLUS Lucrative Bonus Structure

Responsibilities

Talent and Team Management

  • Recruit and develop team to achieve goals both from Ads and Local efforts in up to 3 offices.
  • Training, scheduling, and managing up to and including separation of employment as necessary.
  • Execute and manage lead generation activities weekly in all assigned locations
  • Attend home shows, fairs, festivals, etc. educating customers and scheduling appointments.
  •  

    Develop assigned territory increasing exposure and market share in up to 3 offices.

  • Find, research, identify, and schedule weekly events for participation with REMM approval.
  • Obtain, track, manage process of event booking-Contract, entry, W9, COI, request cover sheets.
  • Manage tools, resources, and materials for event coordination, set up, tear down, and inventory.
  • Develop localized retail partnerships for onsite staffed display for lead generation activity.
  • Optimize potential community entities with REMM to implement onsite sponsorship programs.

    Achieving department and company standards-individually for each office assigned.

  • Professionalism- projecting a favorable company image in behavior and attire.
  • Adhere to Human Resources Department P&P, processes, and best practices.
  • Timely submission of all paperwork including but not limited to payroll, leads, and reporting.
  • Productivity:
      • Set Rate: 90% or better
      • Cancel Rate: 22% or less
      • Meeting Rate: 75% or better
      • Close Rate 14% or better
      • Cost of Marketing: 20% or less
      • Yield: $3500 or better
    Qualifications
    • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or a blend of education, training, and experience. 
    • 2+ years leading teams with proven recruiting and training success. 
    • Skilled in budgeting, planning, and event strategies. 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communicator. 
    • A self-starter who thrives on managing and developing others. 
    • Adaptable multitasker who excels in prioritizing demands. 
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 
    • In-the-know about current event marketing best practices and strategies. 
    • Ready to work evenings, weekends, and manage pre-scheduled events. 
    • Energized by fast-paced, team-oriented environments. 
    • Empathetic and service-driven with a focus on clear communication. 
    • A logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and critical evaluation skills. 
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more). 
    • Legally authorized to work without sponsorship. 

    Travel Expectations: Frequent domestic travel, exceeding 50%, is required.
