The Environmental Professional - Project Manager is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability and client management. Responsibilities include project management, coordination and oversight of field operations, technical proposal preparation, project budgeting and profitability, mentoring staff and staff supervision and project scheduling.
The Project Manager will maintain presence and leadership throughout the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional and business organizations. This is a leadership position that also includes mentoring and developing staff.


  • Project Management in the areas of due diligence, site remediation, regulatory compliance and permitting.
  • Manage team assignments and balance workload in a deadline driven environment.

  • Hands on field supervision and subcontractor coordination.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in Site Remediation (due diligence, site and remedial investigation, remediation design and implementation, regulatory compliance and permitting experience).
  • NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator/Closure Certification a plus.
  • Professional Geologist a plus.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excell, Word and Bluebeam.
  • Knowledge New Jersey LSRP support services (i.e. forms, reports, web-portal, deadlines).
  • Strong field experience and knowledge.
  • Remediation design and implementation services (i.e. VIMS, In-Situ, Ex-Situ, Excavation).
  • Soil characterization and waste management.
  • Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of available websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes.
  • Construction oversight experience for site work.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent and critical thinking abilities.
  • Superior organizational and delegation ability.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring.
  • Client management experience.
