We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join our Executive Team as Chief Risk & Performance Officer. This high-visibility executive role blends enterprise risk management, compliance excellence, quality improvement, technology innovation, and operational leadership. 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership & Innovation 

  • Partner with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board to shape and execute the organization's vision and strategy. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of operational systems, technology, data analytics, and AI strategies that advance our mission and values. 

Team Leadership 

  • Directly supervise the Director of Technology, Director of Incident Management & Quality, and Director of Facilities. 
  • Provide vision, guidance, and support to foster high-performing teams across Compliance, Quality Assurance, IT, Facilities & Transportation. 

Compliance, Risk & Quality Excellence 

  • Serve as Corporate Compliance Officer and HIPAA Privacy & Security Officer. 
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance program, risk management, self-audits, training, and regulatory adherence. 
  • Lead internal investigations, enterprise risk management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. 

Technology, AI & Operations 

  • Direct IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. 
  • Champion the agency's Artificial Intelligence strategy - from policy development to tool evaluation and organization-wide implementation. 
  • Oversee facilities, fleet management, data analytics, and operational systems to ensure efficiency and excellence.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, management, and/or compliance in Medicaid/Medicare or human services programs. 
  • At least 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid, HIPAA, regulatory requirements, data analytics, and technology management. 
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. 
  • Ability to travel locally between sites, with occasional evening/weekend work as needed. 

Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (may substitute for up to 5 years of experience). 
  • Experience in Medicaid/Medicare disability services.
